"I had a computer at home, but like many seniors, I was afraid to touch it for fear I'd break it.
I couldn't work with even the simplest program. My email wouldn't work, and I was frustrated because I'd miss meetings or get-togethers because I was left off electronic email lists. Then someone told me about the classes in the Timothy Smith Computer Center at the Central Boston elder services. The people were so nice; they taught me everything I needed to know to get up and running. Now, I'm no longer afraid of the computer and I don't miss out on anything."
