Center Information
Boston Neighborhood Network is a community media center providing Boston residents and non-profits with training and the means to share creative works, perspectives and information throughout the city and beyond. Using two television studios, a Timothy Smith Network media lab, field production equipment, and mobile production truck, Bostonians create non-commercial programming for viewing citywide on two cable channels, and globally on the web. We produce unique community programming, such as a nightly news program, neighborhood cultural and sports events and political debates. We are located in Egleston Square, Roxbury, at the BNN Charles J. Beard II Media Center, a historically preserved, LEED Silver-certified facility with state-of-the-art equipment. Our TSN center includes a classroom, two edit rooms and the media lab. Fourteen Mac G5 computers have advanced software applications including Final Cut Pro and Photoshop.
