Center Information
Computer learning Resources (CLR) is an adult skills training organization specializing in offering courses and programs which prepare unemployed and underemployed individuals to re-enter the workforce with marketable skills and the self confidence needed to develop careers in today's demanding and challenging workplace. To accomplish these goals, a holistic and supportive learning environment is maintained providing each student with clearly defined objectives, access to dedicated instructors and jointly developed plan for individual accomplishment and success. Students and graduates alike are reminded of the need to constantly upgrade their personal and technical skills in order to remain competitive for the long term in both domestic and global labor markets. To further enhance academic options for graduates a special partnership with Northeastern University School of Professional and Continuing Studies grants 3 college credits to those graduates who enroll in Certificate, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree accounting or finance program at the Uiversity. This partnership not only underscores the credibility of CLR courses but provides a smooth transition to higher education opportunities. More internet based educational and instructional resources are being integrated into the curriculum. New subject matter, techniques and resources are used not only to supplement classroom activities but to expand and make more convenient learning opportunities beyond the walls of the classroom as well.
