Description: 

The Microsoft Office Administrative Training course is designed to help low-skilled and low-wage workers improve their technology and retention related skills, enabling them to transition into administrative work upon completion of the program. Students will gain the necessary skills for administrative work, including typing and Microsoft Office; soft skills such as time management, worker accountability, goal setting, customer service and problem solving; job readiness and job searching skills.

Prerequisites: 

Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or HiSET, pass a computer assessment, pass a reading TABE at the 9th grade level, type at least 18 words per minute, have at least 12 months of work experience, and provide two professional references.
