Description: 

This course focuses on learning the music software GarageBand. During the class, participants will learn the basic operating principles of GarageBand, how to record MIDI and live audio data, how to access and create Apple Loops, how to automate tracks, and how plug-in effects operate in digital audio workstations. By the end of the course, participants should have a short musical representation of these skills showing "the music in them".

This class is held on Saturdays for the time being. Participants are encouraged to bring their own flash storage/external hard drives to back up and save any data they may have created during the class. Participants are alco encouraged to bring their own set of headphones/earbuds.
